1984 Lido 14

1984 Lido 14, located in Maple Springs NY. It is in very good condition, and includes main and jib sails with no tears or needed repairs. It is ready to sail. It has a new tiller and all rigging is in good working order. It Includes the trailer which is in great condition.

I’ve owned the boat for 7 years, it’s ready to sail

Since I’ve owned the boat I’ve done the following:

Completely rebuilt the transom and the centerboard trunk supports

Glassed the bench seats for flotation and painted the interior

Purchased new shrouds and tiller

Also purchased a new mooring cover

I purchased the boat in NY at Chautauqua Lake, where I keep the boat

NY doesn’t require a title or registration for a sailboat built before 1987

I will provide a Bill of Sale which is all that is required to Title and register a 14’ sailboat in Ohio purchased in NY

Asking $650 or best offer as is. The trailer needs new tires. I will purchase new tires and deliver the boat to the Columbus area for an additional $200

Lido 14 , Hull 790, with trailer, California title for each, a project I will never finish. Many years exposed to Nevada weather, needs anything / everything that can be sun damaged replaced. All / most of the metal rigging is present, including mast, stays, cleats, rudder and centerboard hardware. Including Binder file of documents, titles, membership record, Lido 14 class association certificate, Schock Lido 14 parts list / price list from April 26, 1976, manufacturer sailing instructions, 1959 certificate of membership and registration, 1981 owner's handbook, business card for Lucy Ottiger, Schock yacht hardware, Newport Beach CA, 1996 Lido association bylaws, Boat needs centerboard, rudder, wood trim replaced, sails, patch a hole in the hull. Full disclosure...A windstorm broke the straps, lifted the boat and dropped it on the trailer. A hole that I believe can be patched. Trailer included, New tires and wheels, reasonable spare, trailer needs lights, Gary Sack ( see Small Craft Advisor <smallcraftadvisor@substack.com , Ten Years In a Twenty Foot Boat) Gave me this wonderful craft 26 years ago, and every time I go to California to visit, I try to haul a load of projects for him to stack and store. 1960, Lido 14. #654 San Diego, CA. Asking for Boat and trailer $1000.00. Owner: James Ballantine I have owned the boat for about 54- years. I am not using it and it is in my garage taking up space. It has North Sails and they are in good condition. The rigging is complete and nothing needs replacing, The boat is in decent shape but not cosmetically new- like. It will be a fun recreational boat. The trailer has new wiring for the lights. I will include sealed tail lights. The trailer has sealed wheel bearings so that it can withstand salt water. The yokes on the trailer are made to exactly match the hull shape. I will also include the floatation devices for people.
